What is the cost of engraving?
There is no cost for engraving, etching, or imprinting of text and logos!
Engraving is included in the price of our products, unless otherwise indicated:
- For medallions there is an additional charge of $1.25 per item.
- Promotional items or Specialty Items may incur imprinting and setup fees, as indicated.
- Excessive or lengthy engraving such as poetry, long quotations, foreign languages or lists of names may incur a set up fee.

What is the maximum amount of words allowed?
Since every item is unique in size and shape, the amount of engraving allowed is based upon the size of the printable area. We will do our best to accommodate any requests.
(Please Note: Engraving for medallions is limited to 5 lines with 2 words per line.)
What will my engraving look like?
Our in-house graphics and production team works with you to create an imaginative and beautiful award you will be proud to present. Our years of experience enables us to choose the appropriate fonts, sizing and layout for every item, occasion and message.

How do I submit my engraving?
Each item has an “Enter engraving here” field for engraving submissions.
Use this field for the general layout of the award (See Image #1).

If you have a list of names, years, titles or any messages that occur on individual pieces within a group of items, please upload your list as a ‘Word’ document or a .pdf file either in the shopping cart or via email or fax.
Logos and additional artwork can be uploaded in the shopping cart after an order has been placed or emailed to orders@awardstudio.com.
Please include your name, order number and contact information with your file!
If you are unable to place your order online, we require that engraving information be submitted digitally via email to order@awardstudio.com or faxed to 928-223-1982.
Engraving information must be submitted in a typed format. Feel free to call us with questions (orders and engraving instructions will NOT be taken over the phone).
What are artwork or logo requirements?
There are no setup fees or additional engraving charges for logos or artwork.
The quality of your finished product will depend upon the artwork you provide.
Please provide us with the highest quality digital artwork available, (300dpi resolution or higher preferred).
Engraving Or Etching
Artwork for can be submitted in a variety of PC formats.
· Black and white, no grayscale
· Files: .tif, .bmp, .jpg, at least 300 dpi. Please avoid logos taken from the internet.
· Files: .eps, .ai, .pdf, .cdr, convert text and graphics to curves, outlines or paths.
Full Color Awards
Artwork for can be submitted in a variety of PC formats.
· Full color images
· Files: .tif, .bmp, .jpg, at least 300 dpi. Please avoid logos taken from the internet.
· Files: .eps, .ai, .pdf, .cdr, convert text and graphics to curves, outlines or paths.
· Additional fees may apply for Pantone color matching.
We will contact you if your artwork does not meet our requirements.
There is a $50 per hour charge for artwork alterations. Alterations may cause a delay in the processing of your order.
Will I receive a proof of my order?
We provide one faxed or emailed proof on all orders upon request.
Any additional proofs requested by the customer will incur a $5 - $15 charge per page. There will not be an additional proof charge if AwardStudio.com made an error on the original proof. Proofs should be checked for spelling, grammar and layout.
An authorized signature of approval is required to begin production on your order; we cannot accept proof approvals over the phone.
Proof requests may delay the shipment of your order.
AwardStudio.com cannot be responsible for orders delayed due to proof requests.
